The latest round of Co-op Local Community Fund is now open, which means that Co-op members can choose to give 1% of what they spend on Co-op branded products and services to Borders Pet Rescue!
How the fund works
Every time Co-op members buy Co‑op branded products and services, from buying a loaf of bread to planning a funeral, 1% of their spend goes to a local cause, like us here at Borders Pet Rescue. For the 6 months we’re part of the fund the money builds up and we’ll receive the funding at the end of the 6 months.
How you can help

- Choose Borders Pet Rescue as your cause by signing into your online account at www.coop.co.uk/membership
- Buy co-op branded products and services and we’ll get 1% of what you spend
What we plan to do with the money we get
The money raised from this fund will be going towards dog agility equipment for our exercise area. We spend a lot of time giving the dogs in our care 1-to-1 training and attention, and agility is a great activity which we would love to do with our dogs for some extra bonding, training, exercise (for dogs and humans!) and of course for just having some fun!
