Book dog walking

Bramble’s field is a secure 10 acre field outside Earlston in the Scottish Borders. It's used by our Rescue Dogs and can be booked by dog walkers too.

Help support Borders Pet Rescue

Like all animal charities we receive no government funding and so we rely entirely on the generosity of the animal-loving public for our income. There are many ways you can make a contribution towards our work. Whichever way you choose – thank you!

Make a one-off donation

Using the donation form below you can securely donate £5 and upwards directly to Borders Pet Rescue. You can include Gift Aid and all donations will help us to look after, support and rehome animals throughout the Scottish Borders.

Make a regular donation

We have researched other options and consider that the easiest, cheapest and quickest way for us to accept donations is to encourage donors to set up a bank payment directly with us:

Borders Animal Welfare Association
Royal Bank of Scotland
Account Number 00164578
Sort code 83-18-20

*Please contact the centre via info@borderspetrescue.org for information on GiftAid for your donations, or complete this form.

Donate goods via our Amazon wish list

If you would rather give goods than money we have an Amazon Wishlist of bits that we could use at the centre. You can choose how much to spend – every little bit helps. The goods can be ordered and paid for online and they will be delivered directly to us. The list includes some essential items, but it’s also a great way for us to get some special treats for the animals.

Please consider signing up for Easyfundraising before shopping on Amazon, that way we automatically get an extra donation each time you shop there.

Also please switch your Amazon shopping to AmazonSmile to help us fundraise by simply shopping online at Amazon at no extra cost to you!

Donate to one of our shops

We can convert your unwanted goods into our income. If you are having a clear out to make space for next season’s purchases, or are just looking to get rid of that unwanted present or unused gadget, please think of us. If it’s been well used and should go in the bin, please do bin it! But if you are holding on to it because “it’s too good to throw away” then please sent it to us!

Check the most up-to-date opening times as well as information about donating goods here!

Become a business partner

If you are in a business associated with animal welfare, or just because you are an animal lover – why not consider becoming one of our business partners? You could donate goods and/or services to the charity. Or you could offer to make a donation as a percentage of sales of a particular product? How about donating a prize to one of our events or raffles? Or consider sponsoring part of our facilities in exchange for a prominent sign? Please get in touch if you think you could help and would like to be part of our team.

Don’t forget Gift Aid

Having said that we get no government funding, there is a very important way that they offer some help to charities. And that is GiftAid: the promise to give us 25% of the value of your donation if you are a UK taxpayer.

So if, for example, you are a taxpayer and you donate £100 to us and sign a GiftAid form, we can then reclaim £25 back from HMRC. If you are sending a cheque in the post please contact us first and request a Gift Aid declaration form.

If you donate via VirginMoneyGiving they will reclaim the tax on our behalf.

If you are raising money through a sponsor form, please encourage your supporters to give their address and postcode and tick the Gift Aid box. We can only make the claim if we have the signed paperwork – so please help us to claim every penny. After all, it is tax that YOU have already paid in!
