Book dog walking

Bramble’s field is a secure 10 acre field outside Earlston in the Scottish Borders. It's used by our Rescue Dogs and can be booked by dog walkers too.

Our Strategic Plan

In an increasingly competitive and fast-moving world, we understand the need to keep our services relevant and to exploit all forms of communication tools to reach those who can support our work and those who may benefit from our services.

We are in the process of updating our Strategic Plan for 2024-2028. Our medium-term strategy may be summarised as follows:

  • delivering our existing services consistently well whilst constantly reviewing and adapting to the public need
  • improving our facilities over time so that more animals can be helped whilst maintaining the highest welfare standards
  • working in the community to raise public awareness of animal care issues and generally seeking to raise the levels of understanding, care and compassion for animals in the Borders area
  • co-operating with other local and national organisations to share ideas and resources (such as arranging home checks outside our normal operating area or seeking specialist advice from breed specific experts)
  • supporting an ongoing neutering and basic health check program for feral cats to prevent the growth of wild colonies and to ensure that those which exist are helped with regular food provision and medical attention when required.
