Volunteer Trustees

We are seeking to recruit dedicated Trustees to join our organisation and contribute to our mission. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in overseeing the strategic direction and governance of the organisation.

• Marketing/Social Media/Events Management
• Retail Management

• Property/Asset Management
• Human Resources/Personnel
• Finance
• Fundraising
• Estates/Health & Safety

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and guidance to the organisation
• Safeguard and promote the reputation of the Charity
• Effectively manage the Charity’s resources and funding so it can meet its charitable objectives
• Promote the organisation through governance, oversight and activities on behalf of the Charity
• Support the Senior Management team

Duties include:

• Attendance at bi-monthly Board meetings, held Monday evenings via hybrid arrangements (part year face-to-face, part year virtual).
• Participation in one or more Trustee subgroups which meet bi-monthly.
• Involvement in the Charity’s activities including attending & supporting the organisation’s fundraising events.

It is essential that Trustees share a passion and commitment for animal welfare.

Please note that these are voluntary roles, although reasonable expenses will be re-imbursed.
