We are excited to announce the opening of our new and much larger charity shop in Kelso on Saturday 30th November. Located at 27 The Square, the shop offers a fresh and inviting space, packed with fantastic finds and new additions to support our charity’s work rescuing and rehoming animals across the Scottish Borders.
The new shop brings an expanded selection of goods, including a dedicated children’s section with toys and clothing, which will be a first for our Kelso shop. Shoppers will also be able to browse small items of furniture and a pet section, stocked with seasonal treats such as Christmas pet hampers and advent calendars, perfect for spoiling your furry friends this festive season!
The opening would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the Borders Pet Rescue staff and volunteers, who have gone above and beyond throughout the refurbishment. From clearing and cleaning the space to pulling up a floor to restore the shop’s beautiful wooden floorboards, their dedication has truly brought the new space to life.
“We’re so proud of the entire team and their incredible efforts,” said Gemma Mudie, Charity Manager. “This new shop represents a big step forward for Borders Pet Rescue and allows us to provide an even better experience for shoppers while generating vital funds for our rescue work.”
As always, donations of pre-loved items are warmly welcomed. Every purchase made in the Kelso shop helps Borders Pet Rescue continue its mission of caring for animals in need.
